Hello Art Lover

Hello Art Lover,

Hope your year is off to a creative start! I jumped into 2023 with a return to my first love- abstract painting. I reference geometric quilt blocks in boisterous colors and intuitive shapes.

Did you know that when I started my art career in 2005, I painted only abstracts? It wasn't until 2014 that I began my landscape series. And through the years I've wandered back and forth from abstracts to landscapes - usually landing somewhere in the middle.

Check out these 2 abstract series at Liz Lidgett Gallery and Gregg Irby Gallery. And watch for oversized abstracts at Hillary Whitaker Gallery... later this Spring.

And for fans of my landscapes - coastal and marsh scenes will be coming soon.
